Tie Records artist Nicholas Markos did the music for the documentary film Trashed, by filmmaker Bill Kirkos. Today, Anderson Cooper’s producer posted a nice Earth Day-themed piece on CNN’s AC360 blog talking about Trashed. Check it out.

26 Mar 09 The Hitmaker releases “Strange Animal” remix featuring Gowan
The Hitmaker has released his new remix, “(You’re A) Strange Animal featuring Gowan.”
This kickin’ remix of Canadian rock star Gowan’s 1985 hit is a monster, and it’s available now from iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon MP3, and more.
Lawrence Gowan is currently the keyboardist for Styx, but he’s also had a successful solo career, particularly in Europe and Canada, where his Strange Animal album was a big smash. The album (and this remix) feature Jerry Marotta and Tony Levin of Peter Gabriel’s band, and the remix features additional drum tracks from Todd Sucherman (Styx, Brian Wilson).
